Innovating together: tech development and consulting

Associate Professor Dr. Rosen Dimov has spent more than 15 years working across international innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and applied research. Born in Bulgaria, he left after high school and, at 22, became the youngest adviser to the President of the European Commission. His background spans law, business, artificial intelligence, physics, engineering and EU studies, alongside university teaching, impact investing, social entrepreneurship and consulting for companies such as Bosch, Stellantis and Evyap.

Rosen currently holds a managerial role in a global technology company active in artificial intelligence, digital trust, quantum and photonic technologies, radar systems, data-driven innovation, responsible technology governance and human-centred digital transformation. He sits on the Technical Expert Committee of AENEAS, an industrial alliance of more than 600 stakeholders across the electronics value chain. He also leads Phasegrowth in Estonia and Herança Atlântica in the Azores, and supports the international e-business incubator Go-Up.

As an e-resident of Estonia and Envoy of Estonia’s e-Residency programme, Rosen helps bring a proven model of distributed entrepreneurship and digital-state infrastructure to founders, investors and innovation communities worldwide. Over the years he has mentored startups across sectors and countries, and taken part in impact investment clubs such as ESTBAN and LATBAN, as well as venture capital ecosystems including Angel Invest, Depo Ventures and Nesprit.

His civic and philanthropic work includes four consecutive terms as President of the International Young Professionals Foundation, involvement in the anti-corruption movement FLARE, membership in the learning committee of the Peace Practice Alliance with the Euphrates Institute, and service as an ambassador of the United Religions Initiative. He has served on the Policy Council of EIT Food and leads the EIT-accredited course “From Market Traction to Investment: Scaling Agrifood Ventures Sustainably.” He was also an activist in #WeAreTwitter / #BuyTwitter, the 2016–2017 campaign that called on Twitter’s board to study democratic user ownership.
